JMT Architecture to Design New Towson University College of Health Professions Building

JMT Architecture, in partnership with Perkins & Will, will design the new Towson University College of Health Professions (CHP) building – an estimated 235,000 GSF facility that will consolidate the health professions departments at the university and create a major new campus green space.

Our architects are excited to lead the planning and design of the health profession simulation and skills labs spaces, an area of expertise for JMT’s Higher Education team. The team will work closely with Perkins & Will on the project, providing the university with a mindful design that reflects the University’s new identity and creates a flagship building for the health professions programs.

The project is one of the state’s largest design contracts for 2019-2020. The building will open for the spring semester of 2024.

Towson University, located in the seat of Baltimore County, MD, is a public university with eight colleges and more than 20,000 students. Our architects have successfully worked with the University on previous projects, such as the College of Fine Arts Building and the west campus expansion and are currently providing programming for relocation of three departments from the College of Fine Arts and Communications into a new facility.
