Construction Continues at Monmouth University

Monmouth University and Monmouth Medical Center are collaborating to develop a 26,500 SF simulation center to support MU’s Department of Nursing and MMC’s medical staff training and certification. High-fidelity simulation labs will focus on four core competencies; OR, Med/Surg, Pediatrics, and Labor and Delivery. These rooms contain a robust Medical Simulation Capture and Management System and are supported by six Debrief Rooms. These is also a Standardized Patient Exam Suite with ten exam rooms. The center will also house new graduate programs for MU; Occupational Therapy and Athletic Training. New program areas will include general classrooms, faculty offices, and student lounge areas with food service. Construction is tracking for completion in early 2021.
