The new four-story home for the School of Nursing is located at the terminus of the 11th Street corridor on the Medical College of Virginia campus, giving the building a prominent position on the downtown campus. The state of the art building includes all of the functions to support the School of Nursing’s academic mission and its rapidly growing grant-funded research programs, including: wide spectrum of nursing skills labs, high-fidelity human patient simulator labs, patient exam rooms with observations rooms, general-use seminar rooms, classrooms and tiered lecture halls, research labs, including wet labs, computer labs, student lounge and study areas, and faculty and administrative offices.
