St. David’s School of Nursing
Texas State University

The School of Nursing is the second building on the new Round Rock campus of the University; its massing, materials and character take their cues from the first building, sited at the head of the new academic quadrangle. The building is organized around the entrance courtyard. The courtyard provides both shaded intimate seating areas and a venue for outdoor classes, events and receptions. The building includes a 250-seat auditorium and two 100-seat lecture halls, five clinical practice labs, a simulation suite, a six-room standardized patient suite, a home care lab, study spaces, faculty offices, admissions suite, three meeting rooms, a 60-seat classroom, student lounges and building support spaces. This project is LEED Silver certified. Architect of Record: BGK Architects
