Towson Fire Station

JMT Architecture provided study through construction administration for this new LEED Silver, 19,693 SF Fire Station. The design includes a five bay Apparatus room and a two-story wing containing the living, sleeping, and office space for Fire Department personnel. The building has a brick veneer exterior with steel and Dryvit accents. It was designed using a combination bearing wall and steel frame, with a second floor of precast concrete plank. Special features include polished concrete floors and a “green roof”.
