MITCHELL L. NELSON, AIA, CSI, CCS, CCCA
Mitch has more than 40 years of architecture experience. He has been involved in managing a variety of projects ranging from government and industrial to medical centers and multi-purpose buildings. Mitch earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, with a year of study at Ecole des Beaux Arts in France.
Mitch joined JMT Architecture – then Rubeling and Associates – in 1985, and his extensive professional experience has expanded from overseeing the inception of the firm’s CADD operation to include managing a variety of projects ranging from government and industrial to medical centers and multi-purpose buildings. He has been an active member of Construction Specification Institute since 1997 and serves as chair of the local chapter’s House Committee.
